By using Benchmo you agree to these terms. They are short because the service is simple: free tools, no accounts.
The tools
The tools are free to use, for personal and commercial purposes. We test them (and publish how), but they are provided as they are, without a warranty that they suit a particular purpose or that every file will convert correctly. Keep your originals, and check results that matter, such as a contract after merging or a barcode before printing a batch.
Your files and results
Your files stay yours, and so do the results you create: converted images, PDFs, QR codes and barcodes. Because the tools run in your browser, we never receive them.
You are responsible for what you create and how you use it. In particular: product barcodes for retail need numbers registered to you by GS1; do not use QR codes to send people to deceptive or harmful sites; and only process files you have the right to use.
Things not to do
Do not try to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, or copy its pages and content to publish elsewhere.
Our content
The text and design of Benchmo are ours. You may quote short parts with a link back. The open-source software the tools use keeps its own licenses, listed on the licenses page.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Benchmo is not liable for losses from using the tools or from not being able to use them, including lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
